We had a birthday party yesterday evenin for Sarah and Willie, since we won't be here in October to celebrate/  We never get to see them open their gifts, so we had an early party.  We got Willie a mechanical tarantula spider.  He is afraid of spiders, but thought it was cool.  I think that's good.  By the time we left, he had touched it and finally piked it up.
I have made some scary pumpkins and ghosts and skulls for our etsy shop.  Everyone says how cute they are.  Hope I'm not wasting my time.
We will be heading home to Tucson next Thursday and after three months I'm ready.  It has been really hot, so I know it will be tough at first.

Well, it's Sunday morning and I tried a pancake mix that said it was buckeye pancakes.  They were ok, but didn't taste much like the buckeye I remember.   Watched Larry sleep in his chair for a couple of hours , which isn't unusial.  The dogs got us up early, (5;30 AM) so it does leave us draggin'.  We walk them around the park for about a half hour, or however long it takes to do their duty.  We do see some beautiful sunrises from where we sit on the high mesa west of Albuquerque.  Sunsets are't bad either.  I tell myself and quite often Larry, that people who don't have dogs with them aren't out to see the beauty.  Of course they aren't out in the heat of the day at 95 degrees either.

Well, we are back in Albuquerque again.  We must have been really busy, since I didn't have time to post my news.  We made it to Moab, Utah to visit our oldest grandson, since he didn't make it to his dad's wedding.  He lost his job and had car trouble to boot. I'm glad we made it to see him, his fiance got a job and started that Thursday.  Their daughter we call  Leela(our great-granddaughter) has grown to be a little doll and I wouldn't miss seeing her for the world. My grandson reminded me that I  got him interested in the Harry Potter stories when he was ten and we were camping with him. I finished that book then and read the second to him on the phone long distance for the next year.  I miss those years sometimes.
